When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving Program, you discover
excitement and adventure – freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the
‘weightless’ exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows

!!! Whether you watch the short PADI Discover Scuba Video, or are briefed
with the Discover Scuba Diving Flip Chart, you’ll enter the water

Discover Scuba Diving, you’re on your way to an internationally
recognized certification. That’s because you will learn skills used in
the PADI Open Water Diver course during you Discover Scuba Diving
adventure. The skills you will practice may be credited towards the PADI
Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certifications.

Why PADI Scuba Diver?
The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is
perfect for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple of
times a year. As a subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the
PADI Scuba Diver rating allows you to get certified quickly and easily
by minimizing time constraints. With the PADI Scuba Diver certification
you can dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster,
Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher professional on your next
vacation or dive trip.

in the water can earn a Scuba Diver certification.

What will I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving,
including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by
completing pool dives, knowledge development sessions and by making two
open water ( ocean or lake ) dives.
How long will it take?
PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate
mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is
comfortable for you.

Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most
popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of
intense adventure in the diving world.
Why PADI Open Water?
As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and
respected rating in the world, you have the freedom to dive with a buddy
independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover
Scuba experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, credits from these
courses may apply to the Open Water program.

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable
in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

What will I do?
Throughout the course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving,
including dive equipment and techniques. You earn this rating by
completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by
making four open water ( sea ) dives.
How long will it take?
PADI Programs are performance based. You process as you demonstrate
mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is
comfortable for you. The course normally has a duration of 3-5 days but
will be paced according to the individual diver.

Adventures in Diving
The Adventure in diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and
Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three
adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification.
If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation
Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can
earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Where can I go from here?
After you PADI Adventure Diver certification you can take the next step
by completing two more adventure dives. If you’ve completed five total
adventure dives that include deep and navigation, you’re an PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver.
PADI Adventure Dives can also count towards PADI Specialty Diver
certifications. If you liked your Night Adventure Dive so much that you
want to take a complete PADI Night Diver Specialty course, Your Night
Adventure Dive can count as the first dive of that specialty.

Advanced Open
Water
If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation
Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of Five, you can
earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Emergency
First Response
Why Emergency First Response?
Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and
First Aid. Whether you’re a diver or a non- diver, Emergency First
Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life
threatening
situations.

What will I do?
This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be
taught in tandem or as stand alone courses: Emergency First Response -
Primary Care and Emergency First Response – Secondary Care.
Together, these courses proved extensive instruction in CPR and First
Aid, as well as providing optional ( yet recommended ) Automated
External Defibrillator ( AED ) and Emergency Oxygen sections.
How long will it take?
Depending on the amount of home study, the Primary and Secondary courses
maybe completed in as little as four hours.

This course satisfies your PADI Rescue Diver CPR prerequisite.

Why PADI Rescue Diver?
Rewarding and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course.
This course will expand your knowledge and experience level: Rescue
Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well
being of other divers. Although this course is serious, it is an
enjoyable way to build your confidence.
What do I need
to start?
You can enroll in
the Rescue Diver Course as a certified Advanced Open Water Diver . To
participate in the rescue training sessions in open water, and to
participate in the open water rescue scenarios, you must be certified as
a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Minimum age: 15 years old,12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver
Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR program within the past 24
months. The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary
Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements.

Take the first step
in your dive career and become a PADI Divemaster. Working closely with a
PADI Instructor, you'll expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills
as you become a dive professional. PADI Divemaster training develops
your leadership abilities by training you to supervise dive activities
and assist instructors with student divers.

Divemasters do?
Work at local dive
centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort
locations, assist PADI Instructors with students, lead PADI Scuba Divers
on guided dive tours, teach and certify PADI Skin Divers, teach PADI
Discover Snorkeling programs, conduct PADI Scuba Review programs for
certified divers, lead certified divers on Discover Local Diving
experiences, teach Emergency First Response programs after successful
completion of an Emergency First Response Instructor course.
